Young People’s Concerts

Since 1993, the WVSOP has hosted youth from around the region to participate in a series of Young People’s Concerts (YPC).

Currently, we are able to provide three years of classical music programming serving students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.

3rd Grade — Shookstruck:

4th Grade — Full WV Symphony Orchestra Performance:

5th Grade — OhioBrass:

These concerts are offered free of charge for youth to attend with a chaperone, including youth in public schools, private schools or home schooled. Due to space limitations, attendance is restricted to the appropriate age group. Schools who wish to participate are asked to contact us in advance to ensure space, provide educational resources and address logistical concerns.
